What is Black is Beautiful?
As a way for the brewing community to show solidarity and commit to the long-term work of equality, Weathered Soul Brewing launched a
Collaboration Beer initiative. The Black is Beautiful collab aims to bring awareness to the injustices many people of colour face every day, with
all proceeds donated to Black Legal Action Center and Canadian Black Chamber of Commerce.
How Does It Work?
Over 1,000 breweries from 20 countries have registered to join the Black is Beautiful collab. Each brewery will follow the same base recipe for Imperial
Black Lager but are encouraged to put their own creative twist on it.
When and Where will it be available?
The Goose Island Black is Beautiful collab beer was canned at our Brewhouse on December 4th. You can get yours online here or at our retail store. The Black is Beautiful collab beer will not be available at the Goose Island Brewhouse restaurant
for on-site consumption.
